Though Foes of Reality focuses on reviewing 3-4 fantasy, science fiction, or urban fantasy novels per month, we are equally interested in writing about almost anything cool with geek appeal. That includes movies, board games, computer games, web content, subway graffiti, strange visions beamed into our minds by wormhole aliens, and anything else that we might read, watch, hear, touch, or eat!
To electronically submit your work for review, send an e-mail to admin(at)foesofreality.com. Please include:
- Title
- Genre
- Publisher
- Date of release
- The first few chapters, either as a link or cut and pasted directly into your e-mail
Please note that we only publish book reviews post-release. We do not differentiate based on method of publication. Self-published work is welcome, but due to a high volume of submissions we only reply to requests if we intend to write a review.
If you are interested in sending us books, dvds, or other physical media for review, please check our profiles first to see which of us would be the most interested, and then send an e-mail request for the correct snail-mail address. Send an additionial e-mail when you mail the material so we’ll know it’s coming. Sending us physical media is no guarantee that we’ll write about your work. Particularly in the case of novels, however, we do give preference to something we can hold in our hands.
